The American English Academy is pleased to
offer many curricular activities for all
ages. The student will
enjoy having choices that fit their very own
special interests and talents.
Programs
 
Great excitement fills the
AEA auditorium as the students perform the
annual Christmas Program before a live
audience. Friends and family alike come to
see our students celebrate with their gifts
and talents.
Dancing
 
Here at AEA learning to dance different
styles offers the
students the opportunity to grow and expand
their individuality.
Music
 
AEA provides a diverse musical program
which includes vocal lessons, and private
lessons of the student's choice.
Art
 
The students will have the
opportunity to expand their creativity thru
the art department.
Crazy Week
 
Learning is serious business
but we also know how to have a lot of great
fun!
Science Fair
 
Once a year a Science fair
is held to encourage the students to think
creatively and construct a project that
supports their ideas. Year after year we are
amazed at the ingenious ideas that the
students present.
Spelling Bee
Students gather to compete
against their classmates in the annual
Spelling Bee. Competition is through and
students are asked to spell words from a
selection of their vocabulary lists to find
a winner. This makes learning fun.
Ski School
 
Ski school offers the
students not only a time of learning but
also a great time socialization where the
students are creating unforgettable memories
and just good ole fun.
Water Sports Day
 
Developing strong bodies are
a must and swimming offers the student the
ability to learn different water sports and
swimming style while accomplishing this
goal.
International Food and Culture Day
 
It is important to celebrate
the wide diversity of nationalities and
cultures that study in our school. Every
student is asked to bring a dish typical to
their country. The whole school then gathers
to share these dishes and to learn about
different cultures.
Talent Show

Students perform and share a
wide variety of talents before their fellow
students and teachers. This helps to build
their confidence and presentation skills.
Fund Raising
 
Various fund raising events
are organized by and with the students.
These raise their awareness of things
happening locally and internationally.
P.E.
 
Students enjoy and learn the
practical basics by various sports, both
competitively and during the academic day.
Science Experiments
 
Students enjoy learning
valuable scientific procedures and
information through fun practical
experiments.
